What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Intake & Demonstration
Your first visit begins with an in-depth intake and a hands-on demonstration of Guided PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy). This will be a non-invasive, eye-opening experience, allowing you to feel your nervous system reawakening in real time. We'll take the time to assess your needs and ensure you’re comfortable before beginning your session.
How Guided PEMF Works
Massage therapists often refer to areas of dysfunctional tissue as “trigger points” or “acupressure points”—spots where circulation and nerve function have diminished. Traditional massage applies deep pressure to push stagnant blood out, allowing fresh circulation to return.
With Guided PEMF, instead of using pressure, I reduce the surface area of my touch and focus electrons directly into the affected tissue. This jumpstarts healing at the cellular level, stimulating nerve responses and activating muscles without causing the same level of inflammation that deep tissue massage sometimes does. Because PEMF restores the nervous system, you may experience temporary resurfacing of old symptoms as dormant areas “come back online.”
Preparing for Your Best Results
We are essentially salt batteries! To maximize your results, be sure to arrive well-hydrated with plenty of electrolytes. This helps your body conduct the energy more effectively and enhances the benefits of your session.
Younger, healthier, and more athletic individuals may feel their muscles respond quickly with minimal “charging”, while those with more life experience or chronic depletion may take longer to fully reactivate. Regardless of where you are in your journey, this therapy is designed to restore, recharge, and revitalize your body from the inside out. For a natural electrolyte boost, mix ¼ to ½ tsp Himalayan pink salt and ½ to 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice in 16-20 oz of water. Add ½ tsp honey or maple syrup if desired. Drink 1-2 servings daily for hydration and mineral balance—adjust to your needs!
